Are you detail-oriented and obsessed with the organization? Are you excited by the prospect of helping a new organization grow? At the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), we are looking for a key position to help ICI become one of the best joint institutes in China. 

We are looking for an organized, articulate, self-starter to provide administrative support to the Institute of Creativity and Innovation’s Associate Dean and support international staff in navigating their new environment.

This is a permanent contract and the successful candidate will be fluent in Chinese and English, will have a university degree, preferably a master’s degree, and will have experience with two or more of the following:

  • Providing administrative support
  • Working in a complex organizational environment such as a university
  • International partnerships
  • Chinese-English translation and interpreting
  • Microsoft Office suite 
  • Finance, budgeting and reporting
  • Staff recruiting support and administering HR policies

The Institute of Creativity and Innovation (ICI) is a dual-degree institute founded by Xiamen University (XMU) and the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). We’re located on XMU’s Zhangzhou campus, which boasts a park-like atmosphere, with mountains on one side and Amoy Bay on the other.
