Job Description

The role of the invigilator is to administer the examination and ensure that students abide by the rules and regulations set out for the examinations. The invigilator is required to:

  • Attend examination briefing prior to the examination period;
  • Mark attendance of students taking examinations;
  • Ensure students adhere to examination rules and the examination is in accordance with examination policy;
  • Record of any examination irregularities;
  • Distribute of examination scripts before the examination, collect and collate examination scripts for a proper handover to instructors after the examination;
  • Adhere to invigilate any examination session whenever the Registrar’s Office has assigned.


  • Minimum. O /  A Levels, Diploma
  • **Must be available on 7 April (PM) for briefing and commit to work from 19 April to 30 April 2021 (weekdays only).

Other Information

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
