Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a new Exam and Assessment Officer (internally known as Curriculum Information Officer - Assessment) to join our growing ONCAMPUS LSBU centre, part of larger Cambridge Education Group.
This role is on a full-time, permanent basis with the location set in London, United Kingdom (i.e. ONCAMPUS LSBU centre).
With proven working experience in an administrative position, the Exam and Assessment Officer (Curriculum Information Officer - Assessment) works in the centre admin team along with management and academic teams supporting our students and is responsible for assessment data and the delivery of internal assessments whilst supporting data entry, auditing and validation of timetable / attendance processes. This is a key role requiring, strong administrative skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to manage time and multiple projects.
The post holder will be required to work with the centres management team, taking the lead on the accurate administration and implementation of all aspects of the examinations and testing processes in accordance with the Centres and ONCAMPUS Assessment Regulations.
The successful candidate will be working on strict deadlines and follow stringent protocols to ensure compliance with a variety of internal and external regulations, working closely with those who also share responsibility for quality and assessment including central teams.
As the post holder will be actively working with various databses to maintaining accurate and organised records relating to all types of assessments and results, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong database and MS Office skills (particularly MS Excel) and show the abillity to analyse and report on data.
Key responsibilities:
Testing and Assessment
- Lead the administration and running of the Centre’s examinations and assessments including the timely dispatch of examination scripts to examiners.
- Ensure that the examination accommodation is fit for purpose and will ensure that that any adjustments to furniture, equipment, notices or otherwise are restored as per normal Centre use at the end of the examination session.
- Will prepare results for distribution in the form of statement of results and final certificates for students.
Entries
- Ensure that students receive appropriate statements of entry in good time to allow them to plan for examinations.
- Help to ensure that teachers are able to confirm assessment entries and results in good time for any amendments to be made.
