Role Description

About the Role

Working with the Events Manager, this role is part of the consultancy service to all external and internal stakeholders across the University community. You will project manage, deliver, support and co-ordinate University events from end to end. This includes liaising with internal and external clients and various internal and external suppliers, customer care, networking and engaging with delegates, speakers and the University community.

About You

This is a hands-on role for a dynamic individual who can demonstrate their ability to work as part

of a team as well as bring their own drive, enthusiasm and initiative to the role. Flexible working,

including evenings and/or weekends, will be required to deliver some of our events.

Communications and External Affairs (CEA) is responsible for building and protecting Cranfield’s

reputation, engaging with a range of stakeholders and raising awareness of Cranfield’s brand and

its distinctiveness. CEA is responsible for the communications, public affairs, brand and content strategies, supporting the University’s strategic priorities and plans for growth. CEA takes the lead on brand marketing, content and publications; media relations; social media; internal communications; public and Government affairs; events and digital/web. CEA works closely with other Professional Service Units (PSUs), including International Partnerships and Student Recruitment and Alumni Relations and Development.
