As Commercial Marketing, Events and Conferencing moves into a pivotal period of growth at the University, we are looking for an Events Co-ordinator, to join our team to support the delivery of events on our campuses that inspire, educate, and transform, whatever the content.
From enquiries to site visits, to on-the-day delivery, this varied role is about collaboration, relationships, and reputation building. Our portfolio is diverse and fluid and covers events from small meetings to academic and business conferences, to Graduation, summer schools and commercial events.
With the support and guidance of the Head of Commercial Marketing, Events and Conferencing, you will generate and deliver venue hire and small commercial events for our portfolio. This involves ensuring that all activities are developed with optimum efficiency and profitable utilisation of the University’s facilities in harmony with the core academic and strategic priorities.
We are seeking someone who will often be a key point of contact as well as take responsibility for maintaining accurate records, booking/diary management for both your own work and in support of the team’s event logistics tasks.
In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln. We actively encourage applications from across the University with the relevant skills and experience.
