Events and Admin Support Coordinator 

The Apprenticeship Services Unit (ASU) are looking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic 'Events and Admin Support Coordinator’ to provide a high level of event and administrative support to the ASU. We are looking for somebody who will play a key part in the onboarding of apprentices and employers ensuring all their apprenticeship paperwork is completed before they enrol onto their apprenticeship programme. The role holder will also play a key role in the organisation and coordination of apprenticeship events, including both employer and apprentice events.

Please note that we are looking for a candidate who can start by 1st May ideally. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage apprentice and employer queries, including the central enquiry inboxes and managing the enquiry phone line and responding where necessary
  • Manage the coordination of apprenticeship events, including attending events (occasionally out of hours) and working closely with the Apprenticeship Marketing Manager
  • Develop a clear understanding of the University’s apprenticeship programmes and associated marketing campaigns and events
  • Liaise with apprentices, employers and internal stakeholders by different communication methods to ensure the smooth running of events
  • Manage multiple projects / tasks at the same time and manage your time and planning well, including prioritising tasks with competing deadlines in what can be a fast-paced environment
  • Provide general administrative support across the ASU to ensure the smooth running of key frontline activities
