This new full – time post is subject to a successful funding bid and is anticipated to start immediately on a fixed term basis for three years.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

This post will work as part of the South West Centre for Satellite Applications (SWCoESA) team in IIB.  The role is focused on delivering the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Regional Ambassador Programme contract. The purpose of the role is to connect businesses in south west England and South Wales with funding opportunities from ESA.

Working with a national network of ESA Regional Ambassadors, the post holder will complete an annual market opportunity analysis, stakeholder map and work plan; lead networking events and other opportunities to engage with SMEs; present relevant funding and support opportunities to SMEs; and promote success stories and results.  The full detail of the ESA statement of work is available on request.

Applicants should have a good understanding of RD&I and experience of working with SMEs.
