The Role: 

We are looking to recruit an adaptable and versatile Tutor who is committed to adult and community education, placing a strong emphasis on promoting learner experience and success. By joining our inclusive team of ESOL tutors, you will play a key role in delivering ESOL classes spanning from Pre-Entry to Level 2. These classes will be conducted in both face-to-face and online settings, as well as within community environments. This opportunity is located in one of London's most diverse boroughs, known for its extensive ESOL offerings.

Ideal candidates should have experience in ESOL assessment, including exams and RARPA. Currently, we have a specific need for a Saturday class at our Lisson Grove site starting in April, but you must be willing to cover various sites. We are open to discussing additional availability, including weekdays and evenings.

We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences, but we are particularly interested in recruiting tutors available for evening and/or Saturday classes. Willingness to demonstrate flexibility in promptly covering classes at short notice, whether in an online or face- to-face format will be an advantage.

About You:

Relevant subject-specialist qualification

Experience in teaching the subject in an adult education setting is essential

Post-compulsory teaching qualification required, minimum Level 3 with an ESOL specialism.
