The MRC, Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) is a world-class research laboratory, dedicated to understanding important biological processes at the molecular level, with the goal of using this knowledge to tackle major problems in human health and disease. The LMB has around 60 research groups and over 600 staff, students and visitors engaged full time in research.

The EDI Manager is key to this aim by promoting, supporting and developing our EDI approach across our people practices.

We are seeking an EDI Manager with experience of developing an EDI strategy and road map in a complex organisation. You will be a creative individual who has a track record of developing innovative, yet evidence-based, practical and impactful EDI resources that promote, support and develop EDI across the LMB’s people practices. An advocate for change, you have the ability to influence the status quo and stimulate others to embrace EDI, making a positive impact on the culture of the LMB.

The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology is a research institute within UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). UKRI is an entity that brings together nine partners to create an independent organisation with a strong voice for research and innovation, more information can be found at www.ukri.org .
