Role Description

We are a University with ambitious and distinctive characteristics and welcome applications from passionate EDI professionals to join our community.

About the Role

At this exciting point in our journey, as we embark on the development of a new Corporate Plan which will be designed to raise the ambition and enhance the distinctiveness of our University through our people and our services, we are seeking a new member of our EDI team. This role reports directly to the Head of EDI and as such has great autonomy and potential for career progression. This role will have the unique ability to significantly influence the university’s ongoing journey in EDI and make a real impact on our staff and student experience through contributing to the development of the EDI strategy and delivery of strategic objectives.

About You

If you have previous experience of EDI, partnering with stakeholders, and creating and embedding innovative ideas then we would love to hear from you. You do not need to have university experience, and we welcome applications from individuals who are able to influence and partner successfully with a range of stakeholders.

About Us

As a specialist postgraduate university, Cranfield’s world-class expertise, large-scale facilities and unrivalled industry partnerships are creating leaders in technology and management globally. Learn more about Cranfield and our unique impact here .

The EDI team forms part of the HR and Development professional service.  We are about to embark on a refreshed HR and EDI strategy in line with our new corporate plan and the successful EDI Partner will play an instrumental role in this.

Our Values and Commitments

We recognise and value the different perspectives that diversity and equitable practice can bring to our working, learning and research community. We therefore positively encourage expressions of interest from those from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, disability and other protected characteristics who are currently underrepresented at Cranfield.

We aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together and realise their full potential.
