This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Brighton’s Equality and Diversity Team where you will be responsible for coordinating staff-focussed events, training and communications on equality, diversity and inclusion.
In this varied and busy role you will be involved in project-managing and administering all aspects of equality and diversity engagement and awareness activities for our staff, as well as servicing the university’s Equality and Diversity Committee and its sub-committees, maintaining and developing our equality and diversity intranet pages, producing equalities monitoring data and administering the team’s budget.
You will be a highly organised individual with previous experience in organising events, training or other similar activities. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop effective networks and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will have a good understanding of the Equality Act (2010) and a personal commitment to equality and diversity.
This is a full time, permanent post. We welcome applications from candidates seeking to job-share.
