Overall Purpose of the post:  Environmental Compliance & Engagement Officer will support the Head of Environmental Sustainability in maintaining legislative compliance, managing the University’s environmental management system ISO 14001 accreditation and other environmental certifications where appropriate.  Leading to the enhancement of environmental performance, fulfilment of our compliance obligations and the achievement of our environmental sustainability policy and objectives and stakeholder expectations. Support the Head of Environmental Sustainability in ensuring the effective delivery of sustainability improvement and behaviour change programs, events and campaigns.

Qualifications required for post: Degree in environmental management or relevant subject.

Experience required for post: Experience in managing the ISO 14001 EMS auditing and certification process, working within a sustainability service and managing projects for improving environmental performance.
