Innovation, Impact and Business (IIB)
The roles offer the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
IIB is the professional team that supports and drives the University’s relationships with business and other non-academic partners, driving innovation and making a big impact on society and the economy. Its key aim is to secure significantly greater value and impact from relationships with partners drawing on the University’s education, research and physical assets. This includes research collaboration, commercial services, new venture development skills, placements, and education partnerships with business recruitment.
EIP Officers are responsible for supporting and growing a portfolio of projects relating to consultancy, IP exploitation, contract research and other business programmes and commercial activities of the University across all Faculties and departments. They work with colleagues to develop stakeholder relationships and other projects which contribute to the delivery of the IIB strategy and to the creation of impact.
You will provide support in developing and delivering the Ideas Hub, a new engagement platform for external partners and academics and support for Corporate Partnerships including leading and delivering a range of communications to both internal and external stakeholders relating to these areas and the wider IIB and University of Exeter knowledge exchange activity.
