This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. 

This new part-time (0.2FTE) post is available from 3 October 2022 on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2025 

Summary of the role

The University of Exeter’s (UoE) Translational Funding Portfolio (TFP) is a dynamic and expanding range of funding sources used to maximise the economic and social impacts that arise from university research. We invite applications from highly motivated professionals keen to join our team to administrate the successful delivery of these funds. This is a rewarding role, working with academics from all Faculties of the university, and collaborating with partners from other institutions and industry in order to achieve impact. This role would be attractive to anyone who enjoys working in an accurate and systematic way with large data sets. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Efficient, timely and accurate administration of the TFP data sets and filing systems
  • Accurate and up to date data collection and provision for internal and external reporting requirements
  • Administrative support for multiple termly internal competitive funding calls and review Faculty meetings
  • Administrative support for TFP training sessions, workshops and networking events
  • Provision of accurate monthly budget updates to all successful TFP awardees
  • Supporting the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion performance monitoring processes of the TFP
  • Creation of content for the Translational Funding webpage
