The role
This role will be a lead contact for the implementation of a recruitment and engagement strategy for the Coventry University Group’s pioneering new Student Experience Programme, Phoenix+
This programme relies on engagement with several stakeholder groups, notably Alumni and Community benefactors, therefore the role requires the implementation of a range of plans and engagement activity to support participation. To organise and oversee the delivery of the University Group's annual on-campus events service to a wide range of audiences, working with all appropriate stakeholders to provide a professional service. To be the primary interface between Enhancing Futures, Subsidiaries, and other University departments in all aspects of major on campus face-to-face event delivery. The post holder will work with external agencies and suppliers to always deliver the best possible face-to-face event experience whilst working within the framework of a set budget. This post requires excellent verbal and written skills, the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Our Successful Candidate
Our successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a professional approach to all aspects of face-to-face events work and be able to engage with a range of audiences. They will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and experience of working in an events position, planning activities and meeting deadlines. With a keen eye for detail, the successful candidate will have an appreciation for great design and be familiar with a range of engagement strategies, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and often under pressure and to deadlines. They will be able to build strong stakeholder relationships and have a proven track record of successful engagements.
