Energy & Carbon Engineer, Estates.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Nottingham Trent University Estates Department as the Estates Energy & Carbon Engineer. In this role, based within the Estates Department, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering energy, water and carbon reduction projects across the University to support NTU's ambitious carbon reduction aims. The role will include analysing energy and water loads; identification of potential projects; undertaking feasibility studies; developing business cases and project proposals; tendering projects; management of third parties; overseeing the implementation of projects and reporting on progress. The successful candidate will also provide hands on support to the wider Estates Engineering team in areas such as automated metering and building management systems.

As the the Energy & Carbon Engineer you will have a HNC in in an electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or building services engineering field; have experience working within a related energy management, building services or engineering related field; capable of developing good working relationships at all levels; have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail and a practical nature.
