Would you like to play a key part in the development and delivery of building investment programmes within a busy department which manages the physical environment in which staff and students work, live and learn?

The University of Brighton is looking to appoint a new Electrical Services Engineer. In this vital role you will work as part of a small team of building service engineers and have responsibility for managing an array of electrical installations and designing new and replacement services, many requiring innovative and energy saving solutions. 

To be effective in this role, you will need: 

• The ability to provide technical advice and assistance on specific electrical installation requirements. 
• A degree in a related subject e.g. Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• The ability to manage electrical maintenance contracts and projects including managing the work of contractors  
• Experience of managing project budgets and the financial management of building works
