The Role and Department
The Electrical and Data Infrastructure Engineer will provide a professional, customer focused electrical engineering and data infrastructure support service to facilitate the provision of an effective, efficient and reliable data/electrical infrastructure specific to the needs of the University.
The appointed person shall liaise with CIS, stakeholders and contractors to ensure that electrical/data infrastructure works including new installations, improvements, alterations and upgrades are carried out efficiently, compliant to the required quality and health and safety standards, on time and with-in budget constraints.
The Estates and Facilities Directorate provides a number of essential services to Durham University and is responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the infrastructure and building fabric of the various campuses.
