Educational Governance Officer

 Education and Student Services (ESS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Educational Governance Officer. The successful appointee will provide professional support for the educational governance and enhancement of new and existing University programmes and the management of Periodic School Reviews and Honorary Titles Committee and related processes within the Educational Partnerships and Governance Team in Academic Affairs.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have: 

  • A primary or higher degree, or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years’ recent relevant experience in educational/quality assurance or administration; OR; 
  • Substantial relevant professional experience working in a comparable role.
  • Relevant experience to include:
    • Reviewing, enhancing and implementing educational programme quality assurance procedures and practices. 
    • Committee management.
    • Providing professional advice and support to key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Supervision of staff.

What you will get in return:

Salary of £35,333 - £42,155 per annum plus excellent benefits including generous holiday entitlement of 8.4 weeks a year (made up of 23 days annual leave, 10 closure days and 9 bank holidays).
