Summary of the role

The Education Support Team in Wonford provides core and critical operational support for clinical and academic teaching activity for students in all five years of the BMBS programme in Devon.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the development and delivery of the BMBS programme working flexibly both as part of a team and independently with confidence and reliability. BMBS is not a traditional modular curriculum, we work collaboratively with a wide range of NHS partners across Devon to deliver this flagship programme. Medicine is a fast-moving and ever-changing environment so being comfortable with continuous change and adopting a commitment to ongoing professional development is important within this team.

This role would suit someone looking to develop their career further within administration and student support in a team on an expanding programme. The need to work effectively and flexibly within a wider administrative team in a busy environment to deliver an excellent, customer-focussed and seamless service is paramount.

All staff within Education Services are expected to work on-campus as well as from home.

About You

You will be looking to challenge yourself delivering a complex course in a high pressure environment as part of a committed programme team. You will bring excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and proven ability to multitask. You will have gained success working collaboratively and proactively in a team to deliver multiple objectives and high service standards.

You will be expected to provide specialist administrative support and act as a first/named point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will promote the consistent and correct application of processes, systems and codes of practice ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation.

We are looking for a confident problem-solver with a flexible approach, strong communication and organisation skills and administrative experience, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
