Education Services Manager (Fixed-term, Part-time 0.5FTE)

The Faculty of Science & Technology is offering an exciting opportunity for somebody with suitable experience to join the Faculty as our Education Service Manager on a job share basis (for one year).

The successful candidate will have proven experience in providing effective leadership, developing and managing staff within academic administrative and placements teams.  The ability to set clear objectives for staff in a team environment in which flexibility and adaptability are key approaches in planning workloads is essential.  You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty, as well as across the wider University and will also have the skills to review and develop processes and ensure that the team’s workload is planned effectively.

You will be committed to developing relationships with key colleagues and have effective team working, communication, interpersonal and excellent organisational and planning skills.  You will be highly motivated in managing a complex range of duties in relation to academic and placements administration and will have the ability to interpret and work within existing policies and procedures. Experience of providing administrative services in a Higher Education environment would be an advantage but the ability to lead and manage a team and deliver service excellence is essential.
