About the role

This full-time post is available from 10th April 2023 on an open-ended basis.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Education Support Administrator to join our Education Support Team, working across our Online Programmes and Degree Apprenticeship Hub. The role holder will be expected to undertake a hybrid working model, with both on-campus and remote working.

The Education Support Team provides the core and critical operational support for teaching administration and support for delivery of all University of Exeter taught programmes for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught students. This is a large team of approximately 180 staff working across multiple "hub" locations and across three campuses. 

Some of the main duties include:

  • Acting as a first/named point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and general enquiries, providing specialist advice and guidance on relevant matters.
  • Managing student or other records and undertaking quality checking of data to ensure accuracy, consistency, efficiency and timely.
  • Acting as a central information point for Education Services; collating, updating, coordinating, managing and promoting relevant information through a variety of media, including website maintenance where required

About you

You will have:

  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service and effectively handling complex enquiries
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven track record of building relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Experience of communicating effectively in person, in writing and email, and by telephone with a diverse range of people.
