About the role

The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Administrator plays a vital role in supporting and implementing initiatives related to equity, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation. This role involves coordinating programs, fostering an inclusive culture, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote diversity and equity in all aspects of the workplace.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).


About you

There will be a need for liaison and the co-ordination of activities across a number of subsections of a School/Department/University. The work will involve encountering changing priorities and differing situations.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of carrying out administrative tasks to a high standard.
  • Experience supporting projects or service delivery.
  • Ability to manage own workload with appropriate supervision.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present and analyse qualitative or quantitative data.
  • Desirable Criteria

  • Good working knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and its implications on an organisation.
