Distance Learning Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Wolverhampton Online team for a Distance Learning Administrator.

The University is working in partnership to deliver a large number of Postgraduate qualifications by Distance Learning. You will be a key individual in ensuring that student and partner queries are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic individual to be part of the Wolverhampton Online team who will support all aspects of the student life-cycle from enrolment to graduation.

About you 

You will be an individual with a proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills, effective organisational capabilities, and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will be proficient in the use of office technology including word, excel, outlook email, using numerous student records databases and the internet, and an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy working under pressure.

Experience of using the SITS database is desirable.

As you will be dealing international students and partners on a regular basis, then some experience in working with external agencies will be essential.

You will have excellent communication skills using a variety of appropriate media and experience of dealing with clients from a range of cultural backgrounds, an understanding and respect for cultural diversity and experience of working within regulatory frameworks and procedures to meet internal and external audit requirements.
