Location: Loughborough, ENGLAND

Full time and open ended

Loughborough University is seeking a dynamic, person-centred individual to support the delivery of our world-leading para and disability sport strategy. A passion for disability sport is at the heart of this role and therefore applicants with either direct or indirect lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply. We are looking for an individual with strong empathy who will understand the barriers to participation for disabled people and be able to problem-solve creatively to identify ways to address this within a university context.

As a key member of the Development team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and students to develop and shape specific opportunities and initiatives for disabled students to participate in sport and physical activity in an inclusive and integrated manner.

You will be passionate about, and have a strong understanding of, the positive role that sport can play for all people as well as helping to change attitudes towards disability.

Working pattern will normally be Monday-Friday; at peak times during University terms the role will include the need to work flexibly, including evening and weekend work. Please note that this role is not suitable for dynamic working.
