As the Director of Human Resources, you will work at both a strategic and operational level to drive forward the development and implementation of the HR Strategy as part of a wider People & Culture portfolio. Your headship will develop and lead the HR Service to work in partnership with key stakeholders to meet the strategic needs of the University, driving organisation effectiveness.  

To be successful you’ll need strategic HR senior leadership experience and a sophisticated understanding of complex employment law and policies, providing advice at the highest levels. You will have gained your experience through working in a large and complex organisations including complex employment law and policies, and you will have significant experience of building and leading high performing HR services.

You’ll bring fresh ideas and will have a proven ability to work collaboratively, working with senior stakeholders on shared people & culture objectives that contribute to our strategic priorities. You will work together to drive the best solutions that help the University to develop as a sought-after employer of choice.
