Director of Commercial

Lead the strategic direction of Commercial Services, creating a culture of exceptional service delivery focused on enhancing the student and staff experience.

Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities, the Director of Commercial will be responsible for the delivery of customer-centred estates services to underpin the University’s strategic academic and operational priorities. You will take full responsibility for all aspects of campus services (including student accommodation, catering and conferencing).

This role will suit professionals who are adept at providing leadership at the wider strategic level in conjunction with proven operational expertise in leading a culture of ‘best in class’ service delivery.

The candidate will have had the oversight of mid/senior management teams within a commercial environment that includes but is not limited to: Hotels, Leisure, Hospitality, Universities, Venues or other Public Sector Organisations. The ideal applicant will have strong stakeholder management skills, with a level of gravitas that the role demands.
