Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities, the Director of Commercial will be responsible for the delivery of customer-centred estates services to underpin the University’s strategic academic and operational priorities. You will take full responsibility for all aspects of campus services (including student accommodation, catering and conferencing).
We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of making immediate impact within complex, multi-faceted portfolios for industry-leading organisations. Positive, driven and a natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication skills and the intellectual confidence to succeed in a leading university. This role will suit professionals who are adept at providing leadership at the wider strategic level in conjunction with proven operational expertise in leading a culture of ‘best in class’ service delivery.
The candidate will have had the oversight of mid/senior management teams within a commercial environment that includes but is not limited to: Hotels, Leisure, Hospitality, Universities, Venues or other Public Sector Organisations. The ideal applicant will have strong stakeholder management skills, with a level of gravitas that the role demands.
