This is an exciting time to join Libraries, Museums and Galleries (LMG). We recently published our first annual report giving a flavour of the breadth of our previous activity and are currently finalising our strategic objectives in support of the University¿s Strategy 2031. To support us in achieving our ambitions, we are looking for a Digital Marketing and User Experience Manager to enable the design, implementation and evaluation of our LMG marketing strategy and operational plans.
You will have expertise in multi-channel content creation and the ability to produce compelling and accessible copy for a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate will be a strong project manager with the ability to work across team structures and manage effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. With a thorough understanding of the University context and the strategic aims of Libraries, Museums and Galleries, you will ensure that our approach to marketing and communication is considered, consistent and impactful.
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Digital Marketing and User Experience Manager will have line management responsibility for the Marketing and Engagement Coordinator and provide direction and guidance for colleagues involved with marketing activity via leadership of the LMG Marketing Content Group.
Working closely with subject matter experts across LMG, the wider university and external partners, you will lead on a diverse range of activity with the potential for significant reach. From leading on OOH campaigns to promote the University¿s unique heritage offer, to refocusing our digital and social channels; you will have the opportunity to play a key role in enabling LMG¿s strategic ambitions.
You should have a degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience.
Anticipated interview date: Friday, 22nd March 2024
