Henley Business School is looking for someone with a keen interest in fundraising and higher education and with good administrative skills to take on the role of Development Officer within the Alumni & Development team at our Whiteknights campus, Reading.

We are looking for someone with good administrative skills and a keen interest in higher education and fundraising to take on this key role within the Alumni & Development team at Henley Business School, based at our Reading campus.

You will provide broad, comprehensive administrative services to the Development function whilst assisting the Team’s individual giving programme by managing, with guidance from the Head of Fundraising, a suitable pool of entry-level fundraising prospects.

This role will be specifically assisting the Fundraising Team’s individual giving programme by managing, with guidance from the Head of Fundraising, a suitable pool of entry-level fundraising prospects.

You will:

  • Be a point of contact for fundraising queries for Henley Business School.
  • Support the Fundraising Team in administrative duties.
  • Work with the whole team to effectively steward donors.
  • Manage the processing and monitoring of incoming funds.
  • Extract and report on information from databases.
  • Cultivate a pool of entry-level donors.
  • Participate in the delivery of telephone fundraising campaigns.
