The University of Oxford Development Office is seeking a Development Officer to join its Social Sciences Development team. This opportunity comes at an exciting time as we are expanding the team in response to increased donor interest in the world-leading research and teaching being undertaken across the Social Sciences at Oxford.
In this role you will be securing gifts up to £50,000, growing the number of alumni regular gifts in several academic departments and identifying potential new donors across the team.
A team player, you will be central to continuing to strengthen the team’s reputation internally and building a foundation of alumni giving. You will be part of the team that currently oversees Departmental alumni communications and work to strategically link these into regular giving appeals alongside the central Marketing and Insights team.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who is a confident communicator and enjoys working on multiple projects at the same time. This is a perfect role for someone who is interested in starting a career in fundraising and has a willingness to learn and is good at building both external and internal relationships.
Only applications received before 12:00 noon on Thursday 20th October 2022 can be considered. You will be required to upload a letter of application as part of your online application. Interviews are currently scheduled to take place on Thursday 3rd November 2022.
