This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the country’s most successful higher education fundraising teams, and contribute to the University’s strategic priorities to support access and outreach, provide on-course support and enhance the student experience.
We are looking for a highly versatile and motivated team player to join the Student Support Development team in this key administration role. Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities, you will provide vital administrative support to five fundraisers in areas such as research, event management, gift administration and prospect management. Your role will also encompass tasks such as drafting correspondence, database entry, taking minutes at meetings, helping with travel arrangements and ad hoc projects.
Strong administrative and systems skills, attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload are pivotal to the success of this role. You will have several years’ work experience and be used to working with a number of stakeholders, as this role this will include liaising with supporters and volunteers of the University as well as with senior academics. With excellent communication skills, a flair for organisation and capable of acting on your own initiative, you will play a key role in a busy team. Experience of Microsoft Office and CRM systems is vital.
