This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful higher education fundraising team, supporting a team of frontline fundraisers to raise philanthropic gifts for the Medical Sciences Division at the University of Oxford.
We’re looking for a highly versatile and motivated team player to join the Medical Sciences Development team in this key administrative role. Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities, you will provide vital administrative support to the Head of Development and other team fundraisers in areas such as research, proposals, event management, gift administration and prospect management. Your day-to-day role will also encompass a varied set of tasks such as drafting correspondence for senior members of the University leadership team, database management and gift stewardship, along with liaising with colleagues across the Medical Sciences Division.
Strong administrative and systems skills, attention to detail and an ability to manage a varied workload are pivotal to the success of this role. Preferred candidates will have proven similar work experience and be used to working with a number of stakeholders: for this role, this will include supporters and volunteers of the University as well as senior academics. We are also looking for candidates with excellent communication skills and a flair for organisation, and capable of acting on their own initiative, who will play a key role in a busy team. Experience of Microsoft Office and CRM systems is vital.
