We are currently seeking to appoint our inaugural Deputy Director – Financial Services (DDFS) to drive our financial endeavours forward. In this pivotal role, you will lead operational financial services, overseeing budgetary advice, optimising financial transactions, and delivering comprehensive reporting and analytics. Your strategic acumen will play a vital role in shaping our financial strategies and ensuring robust governance practices.

Collaborating closely with the Executive Director of Finance, you will lead the Senior Management Team, offering direction and mentorship to a diverse group of professionals, aligning with the Aston 2030 strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of budgeting processes, financial planning, and risk management.

To excel in this position, you will bring a proven track record in strategic financial leadership, exceptional communication and influencing skills, a CCAB or equivalent financial qualification, and evidence of continued professional development.
