As we continue to grow and enhance our facilities, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Deputy Director, Campus Services.

As the Deputy Director, Campus Services, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic development, management, and maintenance of our university's campus services. Reporting to the Director of Estates and Campus Services, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the efficient and sustainable operation of our estate, contributing to the overall success of the University of Leicester. This will include providing strategic leadership to the University’s commercial revenue generating businesses (including residential, retail, print, conferencing, and events) and provide strategic support and development to facilities services.

You will also take responsibility for professional delivery and development of services relating to commercial and soft facilities services, demonstrating value for money, innovation and effectiveness. You will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and legislation, maintaining high standards of integrity and utilising industry best practice, as well as lead professional support for the development of policies and procedures which deliver and improve the student and staff experience. You will also deputise and represent the Director of Estates and Campus Services where required.


About you

Ideally you will have a substantial level of professional/senior managerial experience with Campus Services, as well as within the Commercial, Security and Facilities Services environment. You will have a record of excellent management of people, resources and change.

Proven track record of generating business across a multisite operation and strong awareness of financial controls is a must.
