Applications are invited for a non-clinical Departmental Lecturer in Evidence-Based Health Care. The appointee must be at post-doctoral level with experience in the field of evidence-based medicine/health care or the wider field of medical education and strong experience of teaching.

The post holder will be predominantly responsible for supporting and delivering teaching across a number of programmes within the Department, notably within the Teaching Evidence-Based Health Care programme. The post holder may be asked to contribute to the undergraduate teaching program within the Medical School at the University of Oxford.

The appointee will also be responsible for leading and supporting research projects within the Department as well as developing funding streams to support independent research that fits within the Centre’s remit and long-term vision.

There may also be responsibilities related to administrative duties that support the Department as well as additional duties required by the post-holder’s line manager or Head of Department.

The appointee will be accountable to the Directorate of CEBM which reports to the Head of Department

The post holder will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG.
