Departmental Lecturer in Phonetics and Phonology

The Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics is seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer to assume teaching, examining and research responsibilities in Phonetics and Phonology. Teaching responsibilities will be at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and at the graduate level there will be a particular emphasis on Phonology.

This is a full-time fixed-term post for two years, from 1 October 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post may be renewed for a further year to 30 September 2024.

You will hold, or have completed all the requirements for, a PhD/DPhil in Phonetics or Phonology. You will have a research record appropriate to your career stage along with aptitude for, and experience of, teaching, and a willingness and ability to take on some administrative tasks.
