Demonstrator in the Department of Geography (Ref.: 509149) (to commence on January 1, 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or above in Geography or a related discipline.  They should have excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a good command of written and spoken English.  Those with good knowledge in the application of geographic information systems (GIS), and experience in academic programme administration and teaching support in tertiary institutions are preferred.

The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support in academic programmes and curriculum development; grading assignments and tests; organising field trips and other academic activities; invigilation; assisting the coordination of teaching assistance tasks and examination matters; and performing any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
