We are looking for a resourceful and innovative individual with experience of working in the monitoring of and reporting on Apprenticeship provision including provision in both England and Wales.
You will be an inspiring manager, comfortable and experienced in working with a range of colleagues both within an organisation and external employers and agencies with the confidence to build networks. With a thorough understanding of Degree Apprenticeships and higher apprentiehips, particularly within the English and Welsh regulatory framework , you will lead on the enhancement of the University’s policies and procedures underpinning Internal Quality Assurance and the oversight of funding compliance for the Apprenticeship programmes, in line with the requirements and expectations of the Education Skills Funding Agency, the QAA and Ofsted and HEFCW.
You will have a flexible approach to delivering in this role, as the nature of the role evolves from implementing a strong IQA framework, to establishing and leading activity around Quality and compliance of apprenticeships. The role will require you to develop and deliver support and training to colleagues involved in the delivery of Apprenticeships, developing their awareness, understanding and compliance. You will also therefore need to ensure you keep up to date with changes in requirements and developments in the sector.
This position is based at Treforest Campus of the University of South Wales.
