This part time (0.5FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 3 November 2023.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

The post

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Education Support Team.  Education Support Administrators may be asked to work flexibly across Education Support Teams, although this post will be primarily based in the Degree Apprenticeships Hub supporting our Psychology Apprenticeship portfolio.

The EAS Directorate provides all of the key administration and education support activities that underpin the student experience from Fresher's week to Graduation. This role is within the Education Support team which provides the core and critical operational support for teaching administration and support for delivery of taught undergraduate programmes. A particular focus for this role will involve working closely with academic and other professional service colleagues to provide a seamless service for apprentices and their employers.  

About you 

You will be an enthusiastic team player who proactively seeks to deliver multiple objectives and high service standards. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, IT and communication skills, as well as someone who is capable of managing their own time, with support.

You will be expected to provide specialist administrative support and act as a first/named point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will work effectively and flexibly within a wider administrative team in a busy environment to deliver an excellent, customer focussed and seamless service. You will promote the consistent and correct application of processes, systems and codes of practice ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation. The role requires a flexible individual with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse work load.
