Saïd Business School are recruiting for a Data Specialist reporting to the Head of Data Management and Business Insights.
This is an exciting opportunity for you if you are someone with strong data handling skills, initiative and have the desire to learn new IT skills using new software. Specialist training will be provided depending on your needs.
In this role you will work closely with our software system Product Managers and other colleagues across the School to ensure the quality and usefulness of our data and systems.
To be considered for this role it is important that you are someone with a strong educational background including a relevant first degree (or equivalent).
You will need to have experience in the use of reporting tools to analyse data sets, with proven ability to work consistently to a high level of detail and accuracy and demonstrate evidence of understanding of and commitment to data quality and data privacy.
You will need to show a customer-focussed approach with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing both with academic and administrative staff, often at a senior level.
We would expect you to have strong technical and data management skills alongside experience of data analysis, visualisation, and quality assurance and be willing to develop professionally and maintain professional skills through training, seminars and self-directed learning.
