Dalian University of Technology (DUT) was founded in 1949 to contribute to the development of the industrial system in the new China. DUT is a national key university directly administered by the Ministry of Education.
 
With three different campus' across two different cities, the Panjin campus has an international focus and serves as an important base for talent cultivation and scientific innovation. It covers an area of 563,000 square metres, has 325 faculty members and 5769 enrolled students. It has four schools: Leicester International Institute, Chemical Engineering & Ocean and Life Science College, Business School and School of General Education. The campus actively serves national strategies and regional economic and social development, and has won over 30 national and provincial-level science and technology awards.

There are a variety of academic roles currently available however the ideal candidates must be able to demonstrate the following levels of experience.
 
Professorial Roles

Associate Professorial Roles
DUT welcomes applicants who can demonstrate influential research achievements in their fields as well as great potential for scientific innovation and discoveries.

Employment at Dalian University of Technology is regulated by Chinese Labour Laws, and must comply with the regulations of the provincial government. These regulations stipulate who is eligible for legal employment with regard to obtaining work permits and visas. Please be advised candidates over 65 may be not eligible for a work visa in the P.R.
