- Responding to a wide range of enquiries and resolving straightforward queries
- Supporting students and staff to use library spaces, services and systems
- Carrying out administrative tasks and using digital systems to manage enquiries
- Contributing to a safe, well organised and welcoming library environment
- Supporting activities and events where required
You will be based at Hartley Library but will often be required to work across other sites in line with service needs.
About You
We are looking for professional and proactive individuals who enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering a high standard of service.
You will bring:
- Experience of working in a customer facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using digital systems and learning new tools
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisation skills and attention to detail
- A calm and practical approach when dealing with queries and busy periods
Working Pattern

What we offer
- Salary £25,249 to £26,707 pro rata per annum
- Generous annual leave plus University closure days
- Excellent pension scheme
- Structured training and development opportunities
- A supportive team environment within a large and varied service
