Do you have experience of working in higher education and student record-keeping? Are you highly organised with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines? If so, this role could be perfect for you.

You will be a key member of the Student Record Administration Office and will supervise the day to day work of the Student Administration Course and Programmes team, to ensure the smooth running of student administration.

You will be expected to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility when carrying out the role, however due to the continually changing environment of the Higher Education sector, these responsibilities will change and you will be expected to adapt to these changes.

As a Postgraduate Course & Programme Supervisor you will:

  • ensure the effective running of course and programme administration and compliance
  • assist in the creation and maintenance of core functionality on Kent systems, to enable core administration and retain accuracy of all student records
  • promote and provide advice to all schools and other stakeholders on all Course and Programme Management matters 
  • carry out the administration and processing of the Universities Board of Examiners (BoE), ensuring results are published in line with the deadlines to ensure standards are met 

To succeed in this role, you will: 

  • be educated to degree level or equivalent qualification/experience
  • have experience of working in higher education
  • be experienced in databases and student record-keeping
  • high a level of accuracy and attention to detail
