Are you an adept administrator, used to working in a busy and varied support role?

Do you pride yourself on your excellent coordination skills and the ability to juggle priorities effectively?

If so, we would welcome your application for this full-time, fixed term position within the University Operations directorate at our Canterbury campus. The role will see you providing effective administrative support to the team coordinating a variety of meetings/committees, diary management and events management. 

As Operations Coordinator you will be accountable for:

  • Provision of administrative support to the academic unit to ensure the smooth running of the office
  • Ensuring that relevant websites, intranet sites and SharePoint sites are maintained with up-to-date information
  • Maintaining documents, registers, MS Teams sites and data for the Directorate and OVC
  • Planning, booking and organising events as well as fully servicing meetings, steering groups and committees

What we are looking for in the right candidate:

  • Experience of working in a confidential administrative environment
  • Excellent IT skills including proficiency in MS office and web-based programmes
  • Experience working with SharePoint and using databases and records systems
  • Experience in handling complex processes, tracking progress and reporting on outcomes
