Do you have a customer-focused approach, an eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards?  Are you keen to utilise your strengths procurement administration? If so, this ongoing Full time post within our Procurement Department could be ideal.

In this role you will provide procurement and administrative support to those within the University, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, managing the internal and external Procurement Team website and reporting and administration of key systems.  Part of the role is focused on ensuring compliance, best practice and value for money.

 What you can expect to get involved in:

  • Providing Procurement administrative support to those within the University 
  • Provide support for Procurement systems and processes used by other departments
  • Contributing to new departmental changes or processes with the aim of improving efficiency and simplifying processes for departments 
  • Ensuring that the University remains compliant with HMRC IR35 guidelines 

 What we are looking for in the right candidate:

  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • Experience of data and trend analysis, identifying improvement opportunities, potential efficiencies and spend leverage / aggregation situations 
  • Relevant experience of working in a customer-facing role
  • Good IT skills including experience of MS Word and Excel
