If your answers are ‘yes’ then please read on, as an opportunity to join our busy Admissions Team as a Visa Processing & Admissions Support Assistant on a full time, ongoing basis could be just the right career move you’ve been looking for! 

You will provide extensive support and advice to the faculty admissions processing teams in order to process undergraduate/postgraduate applications during the peak processing period (Jan – April), and support to the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) team during peak CAS processing periods (May – Oct).

As Visa Processing & Admissions Support Assistant, you will:

  • assess and evaluate applications to ensure applicants have the right to study in the UK and have been set up with the correct fee status
  • assist the CAS Team Manager to ensure that the Admissions Office complies with UKVI regulations
  • undertake processing of UG/PG applications during peak periods to facilitate student admissions
  • provide guidance to both applicants and staff on the UKVI Student Visa policy and other visa categories to ensure the University remains compliant

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • an education to A level or equivalent
  • previous office experience gained in a high volume, busy, process-driven working environment
  • the ability to analyse complex data and present information in a user friendly way
  • the ability to write clearly with a high level of accuracy
