Aston University was the Guardian University of the Year 2020, and Times Higher Education’s Entrepreneurial University of the Year in 2021; we are ranked 2nd  in the UK for improving social mobility and adding significant value to the employability of our graduates.

We offer largely business, health, science and technology focused programmes in foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and degree apprenticeships routes. Our research strength encompasses four major research institutes and multiple specialist research centres, and our business engagement work reaches thousands of employers and employees each year.

A consistent and systematic approach to managing relationships will improve the quality of engagement with Aston’s beneficiaries. This, in turn, will increase and diversify revenue, improve reputation in the market and increase operational efficiency – all key drivers of our university strategy and next phases of development. Integral to achieving this is the smart introduction and adoption of our new Dynamics 365 CRM, which is now being implemented in the student recruitment journey.

We are seeking two CRM marketers who will be responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the adoption of our new Dynamics 365 CRM across Aston University, primarily for student recruitment journeys. The role holder will be a key part of a newly created CRM team, reporting to the Head of CRM and responsible for co-ordinating and consistently deploying CRM user journeys, ensuring best practice and standards in CRM.

You will have previous experience of working with a CRM or equivalent digital marketing systems. You will be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of CRM processes and planning. An analytical approach is necessary, balancing campaign planning with performance and working with colleagues across the marketing, recruitment and communications teams to enhance engagement in support of achieving business targets.
