Join our expert CRM communications team, based in Marketing and Communications, and support thousands of prospective students in applying to the university. 

We use direct email to inform, inspire and support prospective students and encourage engagement with our events, services and website. As a member of this small team you will play a key role in students their application journey, from initial enquiry to enrolment and beyond. 

You will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of CRM and direct email communications and related content covering all stages of the recruitment cycle, helping ensure student recruitment targets are met and that students are engaged and supported throughout their application journey. Development, delivery and evaluation of CRM and direct email communications campaigns for all stages of the recruitment cycle for undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

You will have:        

• Good knowledge of the marketing function to include CRM, direct email marketing, social media, branding and visual identity guidelines. CRM and direct email marketing knowledge should include best practice, experience of working with a direct email service provider and coding.  
• Experience of developing evaluations using data from sources including email marketing metrics and Google Analytics and in using evaluation to inform improvement.  
• Experience of working with data in the context of the GDPR.  
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills, the ability to proofread and to write engaging, on-brand, grammatically correct copy. Ability to interpret complex information and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. 
• Ability to work proactively with colleagues and target audiences at all levels in an effective, professional manner to ensure effective service delivery 
• Ability to analyse and solve problems, organise a busy workload and manage multiple projects to successful completion. Experience in using work management systems such as Slack or Trello.

Reporting to the CRM Communications Manager you will join a highly professional and motivated department which collaborates closely with colleagues from across the university.  

This is a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) post. The University operates an agile working policy which allows you to split your time between working in the office (on our Moulsecoomb campus) and at home. The nature of student recruitment operations means some weekend and evening work is required in this post.
