The Opportunity:

Your focus as a Lecturer of Criminology will be on designing engaging teaching materials for our new programmes, ensuring content and methods of delivery meet defined learning objectives. You will deliver excellent teaching and learning across our School’s programme portfolio including executive and professional education programmes. You will also be responsible for managing your own teaching activity, reflect on your practice and focus on the development of your skills, knowing that support and guidance will always be offered as needed. 

About You:

As a Lecturer in our Criminology team, you will be innovative in your approach and look to contribute to the development and delivery of our programme. You will have the ability to engage with our students, bringing learning to life using active teaching techniques. You will have a breadth of specialist knowledge in our subject area, with expertise in forensic investigations, terrorism and/or organised crime being desirable, but not essential. You will have a PhD in a relevant area, and hold, or be working towards, a recognised HE teaching qualification.
