This is pivotal role within the School of Applied Sciences, working with a wide variety of colleagues to support and enhance the experience of our students. 

The successful applicant will possess exceptional organisational and team-working skills, along with an enthusiasm for providing an excellent and professional service.

The duties are varied and involve use of multiple systems, databases, spreadsheets, and online communication tools.  This role encompasses a full range of administration and support across the student lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality user-focussed services. You will handle enquiries, provide information and advice on university-wide services, policies and procedures, and undertake administrative support for course teams.  In order to be successful in this post you should have:

  • Experience of carrying out a range of organisational and administrative duties. Able to produce written communications and documents clearly, concisely, and grammatically correct.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and communicating with a wide variety people, as this role will have daily contact with students, professional and academic colleagues across the University.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office computer programs to a high standard.
